  1. Great show. You guys were talking about the Titan Master partners that come with the new reveals. Some neat sculpting going on there on these tiny robots.

Optimus’ Titanmaster is not only named after Diaclone, he’s molded to look like a Diaclone driver!.

SIxshot’s Titan Master is molded to look like Jack from the Headmasters series, a non-toy Autobot from the planet Master who got killed thanks to Sixshot in the Headmasters series in Japan.

The Titanmaster with Voyager Megatron is actually molded to look like a tiny Blitzwing (a little foreshadowing there!)

  2. Really fun show this week. I managed to go to the 2nd day of CybertronCon, and a good time. Had a nice chat with Mr John Barber, and got to meet the 3 artists and of course Peter Cullen who put up with me grinning like an idiot.
Sadly Alex and Sara’s stuff all went very quickly. I did manage to have Sara sign my Victorion box (I forgot about the poster.

Surprised you haven’t had James Raiz on yet – he seems like a good guy.

I just want to say that Hasbro is knocking it out of the park with Titans Return – a few small quibbles, but man, are they FUN! I am completely sucked in (sorry for the leak-related pun).

Also – I can’t vouch for the US, but the SDCC “exclusives” from last year are still warming shelves in some Hong Kong Toys R Us stores. I expect to see the Titan Force and Fort Max in stacks soon

    • Hey Cashie,

James Raiz is a really cool guy and we will be talking about him on the TCfon video we will be uploading as soon as I complete editing it. We are looking at getting an interview with him in the future.

      • Yoshi you bastard – you’re always 2 steps ahead of me!
        ; )

I knew you had a commission from him at TFCon (which surprised me, I’ll admit it).

BTW the Fortress Maximus installation (not sure what to call it) at Cybertron Con was roped off. Much to my annoyance.
Kids had to content themselves with stamps, colouring and RiD Sideswipes. At least on Day 2. Can’t vouch for other days.

  3. I used to like all of you guys the same, but now I think Yoshi is my favorite for saying Go Avs during TTTS!

Also, I tried using my Patreon code on my Avis rental car for TFCon Chicago and it doubled my price. I think the code may be broken…

  4. Your comments about Hasbro choosing to make Sixshot a submarine instead of a gun because of “regulations” left me wondering exactly the laws were. Obviously there are a ton of toy guns on the market, like super soakers, cap guns and Nerf rifles, many made by Hasbro, so why would gun mode Sixshot be a problem?

Looking into it, it is probably the safety rules about COLOR that influenced their SIxshot decision. Some state laws (New York and California) require toy guns to have permanently affixed neon on the gun. This would have meant a neon Sixshot! So while they can make toy guns, the existence of the “submarine” mode was there more to protect the DECO on Sixshot.
