  1. Good show as usual… First of all, some respect for the GoBots, they came out first, and were the better value over Transformers Mini-Cars.

For those interested, the names of the ones on display are as follows:
Cy-Kill/Bike Robo, Fitor/Blue Jet, Leader 1/Eagle Robo, Screw Head/Rod Drill and Tank/Battle Robo.

Some correctons, the small partners with the TFSS 5 figures are Micromasters, not Mini-Cons. Quickslinger is a direct reference to a Fun Publications comic-only character introduced in 2005, not to the Combiner Wars reuse of that name. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Quickslinger_%28Cybertron%29\

Optimus Prime’s shell is a gorilla, not a monkey, and is based on the other deco of the G1 mold prototype seen when it was displayed at BotCon money years ago. http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/6/67/Double_Pretender_Gorilla_Grey_Red.jpg

For those WuKong figures, only Swindle and Brawl are out yet. Vortex and Blast Off are on preorder. There is not Onslaught yet, which is why there is no picture of it.

  2. Hey Guys, awesome show as the usual! I just want to say everyone in Zach’s house (me and my cat) all say you’re so very welcome sirs!

    • Zach,

Hey man. Thanks again to you and your cat. We really appropriate the support.

Also, I’m glad your house is not sentient. That would be some scary ass shit right there.

  3. On the topic of this week’s leaks.

Alpha Trion – There seems to be some online disagreement from people who say it as to whether it’s a lion or a wolf. One person even described it as a wolf with a unicorn horn. I assume it’s a very stylized animal, whatever it is.

Brawn – I hope that if it’s a Titan Master Brawn that he comes with a recolor of Nightbeat’s vehicle, since it has a drill, and Brawn had a drill in the TV series.

Voyager Optimus – Does he come with a sword?

Voyager Megatron – Some people are hinting that he’s a triple changer with a jet mode. Any confirmation?

Hot Rod – I’ll be happy to get a Hot Rod to pair with my Mastershooter’s Bolt Action. The Classic toy had many flaws.

  4. (For some reason my replies are limited to a certain number of lines, so I will continue here.)

Getaway – i wonder we will get a Titan Master from Getaway’s head named Zetca. Zetca has appeared in IDW comics recently

Triggerhappy & Doublecross – more guys who haven’t seen a toy since G1. Good news.

Sixshot – In a line defined by built in repaints and remolds, I’m happy to see Sixshot, because it means we have a real chance of getting Greatshot!

  5. A question from General Magnus from the TFW2005 forums: “…can you tell me if triple changer Megatron has working tank threads like the leader version?”
