Question for alt mode
Do you think with Hasbro doing the new comic book from IDW and I hope this helps idea DW with sales too,
BUT,
I know we always have that focal point except for the previous continuity where things start on/from Cybertron and I’m always kind of wondering with there being so many different shows/continuities do you think Hasbro is going to try something radically different with this new series?
I mean we’re starting on “pre Civil War Cybertron”..thats “kinda” a new POV but we all know where it’s going to lead too…but I’m really hope this is something innovative,cutting-edge and fresh with this reboot, the setup is slow but so is/was the first one from IDW for me at least.
I feel Hasbro/IDW is not willing to take a gamble with this new series (the comic AND seige toyline) and do something (pardon the pun) “totally alien” to what we’ve had so many times before, like would it be too far out for them to land/spread to another world where it wouldn’t be human beings this time around? I know we need the human aspect to compare and associate with them in general but..
it just seems to me we (mostly) focus on the same old recipe: here’s Cybertron, here’s a war going on and/or spills the Earth/or perhaps a new planet, the natives get involved etc..
overall, we’re do you guys think this is going with them with the new continuity (and yes it’s fairly snail Pace currently as well)
I hope this will be worth the reboot for us all in the end.
Take care guys,
DMG
