Hey guys I thought I would respond with my own answers to the questions I ask you last Alt Mode about the ones I have picked up. As you have seen in the last week or so I have gotten a huge amount of comics. Most of which I spent only $1.70-2.00 price range each for. That includes all the MTMTE and ex-RID series Retail Incentive covers. (aside of course from the ones I mentioned I got from the comic book store, which from there the most expensive one I bought was the issue 50 from the original Marvel run which was $12).
You also saw the image of the rare DW books I got as well. Those I spent probably more than I should have on, but considering I was getting the hard to find War Within “New Dimensions Comic” cover which I have only seen maybe 5 times on Ebay in the $200 – 500 price range and considering I paid $60 total for the 6 books and that with shipping I figured I got a great deal.
As the the grails I mentioned which you say from my postings. The All Hail Megatron “Killing Joke” and “Megatron No More” covers I spent $40 each for them. More than I would like and most I have spent on a single book. But I still felt was a fair price for each. But now I have them in my collection and I am very proud of them.
And before you ask or say anything Yoshi I will be rebagging and boarding all the books. I had to wait a couple of days to get the some more bags and boards , and also haven’t had the time with all that has happened. Namely my wife grandmother’s heart attack and death this past week. But they shall be done and placed with loving care in my collection. Which I should mention with my recent hauls should put me right about the 2,000 comic mark of my Transformers Comic Empire.
