  1. I’m not exactly sure about your reasoning for the reveal of Black Zarak as being appropriate for a UK convention… because they are foreigners, and Black Zarak was a foreign exclusive?

Those Mayhem Mekaniks are basically the designer Cassy Sark from MMC trying to make an original transforming robot toy line. I think the motorcycles become armor for the robots, like the Cyclone armor from Robotech. He’s funding it through a Kickstarter next month.

Jim Sorenson is the guy behind tons of online material from the TFCC. He writes the Facebook pages like Ask Vector Prime and Renegade Rhetoric. These unused Beast Wars concepts are part of the Beast Wars Uprising fiction, which is an alternate Beast Wars setting where they never came to Earth, therefore they never got beast modes.

  2. BTW – The time code for the Deep Throating rumor is wrong. It starts at about 47:30, not 50:17.

  3. That Mastermind Creations Anubis (aka Death’s Head) is my favorite use of the mold, and I’m likely to buy it. I hear they are trying to keep that release under the radar because Marvel owns the character, and therefore DISNEY LAWYERS!

Yes, there was some initial confusion on the TFW2005 boards by people looking at Re:Master Despotron and Cross Dimension Rioter Despotron. Why would Maketoys make two toys with the same name (despite the Rioter part) bothered a few people.

  4. 20 bucks? I haz a jealous.

  5. I am some what of a fan of the Bay movies. I will gladly join Tacomaprime and the other three and go up against transmissions to defend the Bay movies, where do I sign up?

As for the Titan’s return web show, here’s my problem. Its suffering from what G2 Bionicle suffered from and that is this, relying on other people (or an older generation)to already know the source material. Combiner Wars relies on fans who already know who these characters are and what is going on (that’s what I got from it). Those who are new to this are left alienated and scratching their heads about who this character is or what is going on. As a filming/ media production student, this series is missing two of the biggest things in telling a story, “Who” and “What” and while we are at it, “Why?”. Also the characters feel extremely different from their comic counterparts (i.e, Windblade). Hasbro also really needs to give it more advertising if they want this series to continue.

  6. I just watched episode 4 of the Machinima CW series. *rage*

Will there be any volunteers to step in for this series like there are for the Bay movies.

Also was NOT expecting a Paddles joke from Yoshi! I like where this is headed.
