The seacons did actually showed up in the i think the Beast Wars the second anime series. They were a bunch of pirates , with a pirate ship and everything and they combined into God Neptune. With one of them, tentakill, was renamed and turned into a fembot.
As for this new Comic, i’m fairly new to the whole IDW Universe so this took me by surprise. I love MTMTE so Im a little bummed that this will be knocked back to square one. My problem with this is since with Joe and M.A.S.K being human focused, that this do the same as those shitty Bay movies in that it will focus more on the humans and be more of a military crossover comic that will focus more on those two than the Transformers, but I am interested in seeing how this plays out.
The Seasons appeared in the Masterforce series. And I do believe he was called King Poseidon. And I believe that Turtler / Snaptrap was the only live Decepticon with the others being drones. I do remember him combining at least twice in one episode into King Poseidon .
As I mention before I am willing to give this new Revolution comic a shot. Like Deviations , Angry Birds , and other TF crossovers. I gave them the benefit of the doubt before they come out and I read them. I mean who knows what the reaction will be to the story and all.
I look at it like the Transformers movies and all moves that come out these days. We see so much pics from the set , leaks here and there about things of the movie. Spoilers and the like. I personally try my best not to look or if I do see pics and stuff about things, I don’t go and say oh that is such and such and he will be doing this and that in the movie. I think it is really stupid of people who speculate this and that about a movie and pretty much spoil it to a point or just out right guess things.
Look at Star Wars the Force Awakens before it was released. They were saying of this character will die , no this one will die, no this will happen , no that will happen, etc . I am fine with people guessing this and that but when it goes to the extreme with social media as it has been last few years it just getting out of hand.
I keep seeing posts of the vehicles from the set of TF 5 and people saying of its this character or that character. Granted yes we know who Bee and Hound are. But let the rest just be a surprise or whatever when the movie is released.
Forgive the rant I am just a person who doesn’t want anything spoiled about a movie until I see it and all. I guess you can say I am a old school fan of things. Like Yoshi.
Though I will admit Anthony Hopkins joining the cast makes me happy. I love his work.
