hey am i the first one here!!!
    (looking around)…AWESOME!!!

  2. Hey guys nice rumors again this week. I had expected to see Scrounge back during the Generations Fall of Cybertron line as a recolor of the datadisc Rewind and Eject (the disc could be called a “wheel”), but Cosmos also works.

I wanted to throw a theory your way about the Deluxe Blurr and Scourge. I was wondering why they held those two back, and had this idea. I think Blurr and Scourge, being former Targetmasters in G1, might utilize their Titanmasters in a different way. The little guys Fracas and Haywire are probably still standard Titanmaster molds, which turn into heads, BUT the figures might not use them as heads. Instead the Titanmasters will fold up and attach onto the backs of Scourge and Blurr’s guns, become pseudo-Targetmasters. Because they still can turn into head, they can form the head on other robots, and other Titanmasters can combine and power up Scourge and Blurr’s guns. Anyways, that’s my theory.

    • Hey Mathew, could you put a link back to the TransMissions website on the first post of your TFW thread? It’s been linked in several posts but the thread is 160+ pages long and it’s gotten buried. It would also be great if you linked back to the episode when you post the new rumors. Thanks!

  3. On the subject of the old Robot Chicken sketch with the Zybots, the Zybots were an actual toy line from Remco. You may remember Remco for its comic book heroes, Conan, Crystar, Mantech and other short lived action figure lines. I had many of them. https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8470/8147691137_1499499b5d_b.jpg

  4. Remco were sort of famous for making figures in the style of more popular figures to be sold as compatible toys… their own versions of Masters of the Universe, GI Joes and Transformers back in the 80s. Since the name probably still exists, I have wondered why some third party doesn’t look at buying the Zybots brand and releasing transforming robots under that logo. Make them modern, cool, complex toys, but give them the names alt modes of the original silly little Zybots. I mean make a cool fire engine transformer, but call him Zybot Hot Stuff.

    • Your wealth of knowledge is unbelievable able. We may make fun of Zybots and others, but personally, I’m greatful we have listeners like you who can put these other bots and toys in historical context. I do enjoy learning about them. Thanks!

  5. Glad to see my trips to the store entry get used, though still not sure why people akways think there’s an N in my last name. But speaking of headmasters, what kind of style or “play pattern” do you think the third part of the Prime Wars trilogy will encompass? Combiner Wars represented the proper return of combiners after only having repaints of those crappy energon Maximus combiners and the FoC Bruticus toys, and Titans return is bringing back headmasters in addition to basically every other kind of master (except action masters hopefully) in addition to mini-cassettes. So with both lines being centered around very specific unique gimmicks, it’s safe to assume the final part of the trilogy will follow this pattern. Is there something in particular all of you would like to see make a comeback that’s maybe been a bit neglected over the years, or something you think hasbro is likely to do? Personally if I was gonna guess, I’d think it would either be a full-on return of beast-mode transformers (combiner wars, formerly titan wars, BEAST wars??? Also, with combiners and headmasters, hasbro kinda “tested the waters” with both in the generations toyline, which also features a few beast wars characters. Could those have been testing the waters for a full on toyline revival? Plus idw both recently introduced a beast planet and has hinted at the return of Onyx Prime) or straight up do toy versions of all the 13 Original primes and any other prime/convoy of note (new sentinel prime toy, new Alpha Trion toy, aforementioned idw hints at the return of onyx prime). Of course, I could be way off and we’re gonna get “Revenge of the Spychangers”, but I think I could be onto something.
