On this episode of TransMissions Extra!, IDW Transformers comics colourist John-Paul Bove joins us to talk about the upcoming science fiction movie The Martian, based on the book by Andy Weir. Yoshi and Charles loved the audiobook (it kept them company on the long drive to TFcon Toronto back in July) and are looking forward to the movie. Darryl’s on the fence, and JP notices some red flags in the trailer that gives him pause.

I’ll second Yoshi’s recommendation here (and Charles’, too, I guess) — The Martian was a fantastically well-written book, and I couldn’t put it down.
I’m excited for the movie, reservations about it’s treatment notwithstanding.
