YEA ITS ON TIM….
uh i mean its here to down load b4 i go to work…
another great start to the weekend!!
I’m guessing these Singapore convention exclusives from MMC anf FPJ will also end up being sold at TFcon USA next month. So if you want your $600 Nero Rex, it will probably be there.
You mentioned that there is only one Wheelie… I know we like to forget him, but there was also that stupid RC truck from the Bay movies named Wheelie.
On the FansProject Positum figure, I’ll just point out it’s not a “repaint” of Crox. They actually announced Positum first, and released it first, so TECHNICALLY Crox is the repaint!
For that Year of the Monkey Optimus Primal, I think it works better as Beast Machines Primal Prime.
BTW – Have you guys ever seen that old third party Beast Machines Optimus Primal toy made by Agglo? It was sold in Big Lots stores by a company that mostly made KOs, but this was a new mold they made up that was show accurate more than any Hasbro toy. I own it. You can see a comparison of the Agglo toy and the Hasbro one here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-toy-discussion/524378-beast-wars-appreciation-thread-28.html
Since you guys record a week or so ahead, I just thought I’d drop you a line about the new Play With This Too Kickstarter campaign. They had mentioned it will be a 30 day campaign, and they want it to end during TFcon USA (October 16th-18th). So if you do the math, that means it should be starting about the same time your next show is released, September 18th. They have announced that their Kickstarter will include Boneyard (Pretender Grimlock) and Jetstrike (Pretender Starscream) figures, as well as several repaints and some all white “customizer editiions”, and the prices will start at $39 each including to the USA. So let your listeners know that if they are interested, it should begin about the time you mention this on the show.

WHAT WHAT WHAT???? NO YOSHI!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is the world coming to????
As always it is sad to be down a member of the great team , but for that member to be the Great and Almighty Yoshi makes me really sad. But hopefully everything is good and healthy for Yoshi and he will be back soon.
First off thanks for the plug for my channel guys really appreciate it.
Next I want to say WTF is us with there choices for their Year of the whatevers”? I not complaining with there MP choices but their 2nd choice?? Granted the last 2 for your of the Snake and Goat weren’t bad. Those of course being the Cybertron Supreme Class Starscream repaint in G1 colors. And the G2 / RID repaint of the Laser Prime for the Goat. But this Primal WTF??? Like Big C says the Optimal Optimus mold would have been a nice choice and one who more than likely will get the $100 price. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Ultra Class Optimus Primal mold used for this as well. He would be my 2nd choice for this. But like I said and what the Almighty Yoshi would say to Hasbro WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!
I’m thinking they just pick from old molds that have not been used for a while, and then color them in random, lucky-draw-like ways. The weirder the better.
I do agree with you there Matt. But we can help for some better choices ………someday!!
Thanks for mentioning me again, guys. Of course I don’t think Yoshi’s the only funny one, I was just replying to another comment that you got, that was kind of dissing him. Like I said before, it’s the chemistry between you guys that makes it fun. And Darryl actually got the pronunciation of my last name right, except for the K, which isn’t silent 😉
Also thanks for the comic reviews. I bought the first issue of the new RID book and didn’t think too much of it. But after hearing your review, I think I’ll check out issue 2 after all.
And next month I’ll be visiting the C.O.N.S. convention in Nettetal, Germany. John Paul Bove will also be there. Maybe it’s worth mentioning this convention on the show, since I’m sure I’m not the only European listener that you have. Check out their website at http://www.ntf-cons.de
cheers, Ralph
I’m not too enthralled with the year of the monkey primal (Year of the Monkey is my Chinese Zodiac). I love Optimus Primal (Primal is my G1 Prime) But I really think they should had used another Primal figure. Maybe the Optimal Optimus Primal or hell, the original Primal done in the fashion of year of the Horse with some gold trimming would had been a much better choice for this. Just something other than a Beast Machines toy seriously.
