  1. Another Great interview!! Makes more jealous I am not able to go to these Cons!! But one day I shall. I have a few of the blank covers I would love to get work done on , just have to go to a Con to get them done. Maybe I can send it or them to one of you for the next one?? Have a couple of ideas for covers just not sure about them!!

    • Hey Dinobot, as Livio said in the interview it might be easier to just contact the artist you want to commission directly. You’re not restricted to only getting art from them at a con, and you might get a better piece if they’re not under the time pressure of the weekend to produce the art for you.

You can ship a blank cover directly to the artist and have them ship it back to you when it’s done. You’d have to ship it to one of us and we’d have to ship it back to you anyway, so why not cut out the middleman?

Most of the IDW artists are active on social media like twitter or have websites, so they should be easy to contact.

      • I will more than likely do that once I get a little more situated. Things are ind of rough right now with my channel , kids starting school , and everything else that is happening here. But I will check them out!!

  2. Really enjoyed the James Roberts and Livio interviews. You guys did a great job and I really like how there was no back ground lobby noise unlike another unnamed podcast. High Five guys.

I’m going to have to find away to the TFCON next year, sounds like a lot of fun.

Bag/Box of bots TW corelock, MP-10 reissue (takara), DX9 Megatron upgrade, and Fantoys Tesla…Daryl I don’t know what it is about Tesla but somethings off and I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe because it’s not Nick Roche style? Not sure…may or may not keep it.

  3. Oh….and how are you guys getting your hands on blank sketch covers? I found a few on ebay but the price shipped is steep.

I’ll have to talk to my new local comic shop and if any TF ones come out again to order me 1/2 dozen of them….if possible.

    • Oh man, Rob. Transformers: Regeneration One, Sketch Covers are very difficult to get your hands on right now. I started picking them off ebay until the prices became insane. I didn’t end up with that many. Less than a handful.

In general, I believe sketch covers are easy to get your hands on. If you don’t care about the comic book title. It seems like a lot of comic book titles put out a sketch cover once a year now.

      Good luck!

      • I know what you mean with the Sketch covers I managed to get couple myself. NO IDEA what I can do with them just yet though!! I will admit the ones I got were really a lucky grab!!

        • Like Livio said in the interview. You can contact an artist directly and have them work on your cover. sounds like you might end up with a better product that way then finding them at a con.
