I agree with you that the TFCC Marissa Fairborne figure is good, but I have no use for a non-Transforming Afterburner. They should have just given her a jet pack like she used in the show. I don’t think there is any Motorcycle mold they could have used for Afterburner, since most modern motorcycles are females, and I don’t want to see a female mold used as Afterburner. The only male motorcycle robot mold that’s the right size for a GI Joe rider is Energon Deluxe Highwire, and he looks nothing like Afterburner.
Yes, the size up from Voyager is Ultra, but I will take issue that you guys called the company making the Dinobot combiner CGenerations. Their name is GCreations. That’s one bizarre name swap.
I just went back and listened to it. I don’t know how or why I made that name swap and why I never caught it in editing. It’s correct in our show notes as you can see above. *shrug* I blame exhaustion brought on by prolonged podcast editing. 🙂
That’s cool. I always cringe when I listen to my own show, because there are so many mistakes, slurs and stutters.
I think RTS Wreck-Gar is a good size for G. I. Joe-sized figures. Not sure if he ever interacted with Marissa, though.
TFCC can’t include Wreck-Gar in the package. They would have to repaint it as someone else. I don’t think Marissa ever worked with Wreck-Gar.
I did find a custom someone did with Wreck-Gar as a GI Joe motorcycle, with rider. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/972531-g-i-joe-transformers-crossover-wreck-gar-ram-cycle.html
I want to apologize to Yoshi and you guys about my reference to the Transformer Cup. I should have been more detailed. The cups shows Panels from Marvel Issue #1 and #2.The Panel over Prime’s left shoulder is from Page 16 Third Panel of Issue #2. Where Optimus says “I bring you Greetings from Cybertron!” to Sparksplug and Daniel. Where the has Optimus Prime’s name. It is the fourth panel of page 4 of Issue # 1. Where Optimus is first introduced. And the panel shown right under Optimus’s right arm is from Issue #2 Page 13 Top Panel. This one shows Optimus with several Autobots. The only one I can’t quite make out is the one over Optimus right shoulder. All I can make out is a image of Optimus saying something. I can’t make out what he is saying nor who or what is in the right hand side of the panel.
I see that Jeremy has the TFCC magazine. Will we be hearing a review or sybnopsis of the comics? There is the main story with Rampage and Transmutate, and the back comics. Some really obscure TF characters appeared in this comic like Lord Imperious Delirious from the Blackthorne comics and SG Stagedive, a fan character.
Great show guys. I understand how long it takes to record and produce a podcast, so you really are spoiling us listeners with two episodes in one week. Thanks for including me on ‘The List’. 😉
Thank you for answering my question during the last show. Just after the episode I found that Toyworld is going to have their own Dinobot combiner to compete with GCreation’s Shuraking. So now I have two sets of toys to long after, knowing I will never be able to afford them.
With IDW comics having their big combiner war event early next year do you think fans will eventually become sick of combiners? Are there any new combiners you would like to see? Personally I would like to see an all female Transformer set.
