Looking back on the first year we’re all amazed that this project even worked. It had everything going against us. We didn’t know each other. We didn’t know how to record a podcast. We didn’t know what was acceptable or not. We still don’t. But in a lot of ways that’s also why TransMissions has been so successful. Four guys who didn’t know each other get along so well because of our shared love for Transformers. Four guys who had never recorded a podcast before were able to learn how to do so quickly because of our background in Computers and Information Technology. Four guys who didn’t know how podcasting editing was supposed to work, and still don’t, resulting in creating a podcast overflowing with personality. A clusterf**k of accidents has resulted in a weekly show that we love producing!
It is with our first year of podcasting under our collectively stretched out belts that we want to share the celebration with all of our listeners. So, we are announcing the TransMissions One Year Anniversary Windblade Contest! Prizes for the One Year Anniversary Windblade Contest are:

- Be a Guest Host on TransMissions!
This is quite the Transformers contest! Along with the Windblade Action figure and a special signed copy of the Windblade Trade, you can come on an upcoming episode of TransMissions as a guest host! You’ll get to talk toys with Darryl, geek out on comics with Jeremy, walk down G1 memory lane with Yoshi, and of course, get corrected by Charles!
To enter the One Year Anniversary Windblade Contest all you have to do is send us a 60-second or less audio clip telling us about your favorite moment from our first year of of the podcast, or if you’re new to the show, share a moment from the 30-year history of Transformers.
E-mail your 60-second or less MP3 audio clip to contest@transmissionspodcast.com. The top ten clips will be played on a future show where we’ll announce the winner of the One Year Anniversary Windblade Contest. And remember, past TransMissions guests and any professionals working on past or current Transformers work are ineligible to enter.
