im slowly getting back in the feedback saddle for you guys, may has been a killer month for me so far:
work,overtime, one weekend a backyard patio 12 hours!,prepping for palladium trip, more work, did not do enough , MORE overtime,the palladium trip (in which was ^#%$*^* AWESOME ,WAIT that sounded like Yoshi in my head just now, short busy but AWESOME non the less), EVEN MORE WORK ,of course MORE OT, last weekend my gridlets swing set not as bad as i thought it would be,in which i need to re do a little,wife started a second backyard project…
(the love of my life,i’m only ONE MAN!! please spare me…!)
AND i got back on the patron train as well…dont ask, long story…and it WAS a struggle…hey i did not wish to leave this wonderful ride..again long story..
ughh..wait were was I, hard to see with all these tears in my eyes,oh yes..
And now its 3:36 am so im taking some “transmissions time” b4 work calls me in… I do want to say you guys do an outstanding job at what you do, otherwise i would not be doing this right now, and if i ever get to meet you guys in person some day..maybe a trip to Canada?… some day….,who knows, it seems the most likely way to do it, i will shake your hands (a FIRM DMG STYLE HAND SHAKE, i dont do no weak ones here, NO SIR!)and tell you this in person..and maybe a hug from big c…well ill feel like Ive joined the allspark…

I think for my CHUG Cyclonus I’ll be using the Combiner Wars Voyager paired with the Targetmaster from the Deluxe toy. I don’t collect MP, so that’s to pass on the X-Transbots toys. I do like Cyclonus being a Voyager. He should be big.
JustIToys also released some Triple Changers, with their versions of Blitzwing and Astrotrain as smallest Transformers (Yeah, so correction, Machine Boy’s is the 4th third party Astrotrain).
I should point out that Machine Boy released a Springer homage as one of their early toys in China a couple years back, it was called Green Ghost, and was a low cost, mass produced toy that I own. It cost only about $7 in Chinese toy shops. It’s a bit skinny and simple, but not bad for a low cost toy. http://en.wikialpha.org/wiki/Green_Ghost
I’m not really all that impressed the reissue Trypticon box art. I don’t know why honestly, I’m passing this ways but the box art…as beautiful ad it is. The G1 Trypticon in this looks..out of place. The background, foreground, and color theme really reminds me of WFC & FOC. And he just stands too much then he already does. But that’s just me.
Also the pink sword add on from Beezleboss really looks like a sword from Monster Hunter. In the game there’s this generic jaw bone sword in merchant shops that serve as background pieces and it looks identical to the sword add on.

First off another GREAT show as always, I don’t know about it being a “Daryl episode” but it was good as expected.

BUT and yes there is a but…
I do feel a little said about my question not being (fully)read on the show and please allow me my point of view to be typed,…Wait a minute..I think I’m ok on this, and this is all story wise of course…unless I know something the rest of you don’t…

Ok I feel for myself the cybertronian race as a whole it of course a non gender race and I think we agree on this fact, however the fact is that the do not reproduce in a biological fashion, but we as non-mechanicals but biological DO perceive most (if not almost all) of them as male because of the name, and outward appearance mostly alone, however this fact is changed due to the outward appearance of let say…. my favorite choice: idw arcee she was once a he, turned into that to see what the impact would be to the rest of the race (this of course due to Simon Furman), was not thought out much past that at that time, however along comes windblade, the first “outside female cybertronian” no alternations, no CNA “flips”, no changes made to a “former him to a her”, and this is thanks to miss scott (who’s writing KICKS ASS and I hope she sticks around for a LONG while), now agreed I think there was some talk between these awesome writers and I hope a conclusion was reached, somehow in this topic has had rekindled in me these past few years, (and yes in the GRAND end it boils down to marketing. And I don’t think in this day and age there should be a dividing line for girls and boys toys, and lets face it I had to go to a con just to see and buy a windblade and a arcee, so they have sold real well for the last 7 months and I have not seen them in the wild ever!) so I think boys/guys can relate to a strong female lead/role models , look at headmaster don he has been wanting arcee for the past 28 years, so that has to tell you something when he finally got his, and let’s look at the films terminator 2 judgement day Sara Connor or aliens trilogy Ripley, THESE ARE TOUGH AS NAILS WOMEN!!Strong leads and guys we can relate to this so there is that side of my coin…so with this type you know I have no issues with women/female leads/roles…WHAT SO EVER!!
But yet here is the other side that bugs me, back to the non gender bit…ok females do exist outside of the planet cybertron, EX: windblade, firestar etc, so something and galvatron clued us in a little when he fought arcee a while back/few issues ago, something is up with this and I wish IDW would come out with the reason that they keep picking at the scab, at least with me it feels like it..i mean come on if others colonies have females and other ships do as well then “why not the planet cybertron” then? I myself I feel will not/CAN NOT accept that “there just there, that’s that” if IDW keeps picking at it , there is a reason, I think this is the best way to go for me (for now): c beast had said in the past there a mutation /something in the spark that causes it, big c tweeted that the female “sparkgene” in the CNA was always there, its just that jhiaxus had to “re”discovered it… it was there all along (again, why IS IT THERE if there is no gender), so this is what I get/go from that: its in the spark that chooses what the shell/outer body that houses it looks like, it is a unconscious choice made from the spark to look the way it does but there is around a 98% chance is looks to be perceived as a male, and somehow/someway evolution plays a part but IF THAT IS THE CASE, what causes it to evolve female? so until then that’s what im going with it seems like that’s the closest ill ever come to an answer that I can live with…until IDW picks at me again with another “CLUE” to start me rambling again…and it will, I’m sure of this.
Wheew, ok with that typed out one last thing: if k girl is lead illustrator, I want to be lead “scale nut” c beast said it on today’s show AND he said the word “scale” about 6-8 times today it about, AND YES I DO CARE ABOUT SCALE, always have, he just forgot I was out there, that’s all…if someone feels stronger on the subject, let me know…ill back down…

– Titan Devastator SDCC, I’m a bit disappointed that it’s not G2, or some other crazier color scheme, and at the same time I’m a bit relieve that I would feel less inclined to start camping at the convention tonight. (and yes, I’ll be going to SDCC this year haha) I’m sure repro-label (aka Toyhax?) will do a set for the regular release to make the regular release look better.

– G1 Trypticon reissue: I might get this if I don’t have to jump through too many hoops to do so. My complaint or concern is that there are very little information from Hasbro on where these figures will be released. I figure they would do an announcement since this is not a wide release per se. Right now we rely purely on fan info on which store is carrying them.
– IDW Scoop: You guys mentioned that in the current comic [Spoiler alert] Scoop got incorporated into Devastator, and the change from Orange to a Non-devastator green in the physical print. If you look at the Takara release of the Scoop mold in Transformers Adventrue (http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/review?scode=FIGURE-008806&page=top%2Fsearch%2Flist%3Fs_seriestitle%3DTransformers+Adventure%24pagemax%3D40%24getcnt%3D0%24pagecnt%3D1), it’s an off green also. Wonder if that is related to the comics at all?
– Apollyon: I too took the gamble and bought an Apollyon. I have to say that my first night was a nerve-wrecking experience; I spent a couple hours to get to know what I’m getting myself into. I was sweating bullets through out the whole night, probably lost a couple pounds in the process. [ ;P ]
I’m happy to say that after having transform him from Robot to Gun and back, my figure does not appears to be a lemon. But I have to say the process of transforming the figure is not particularly fun. The cannon arm on mine do hold up in the classic cannon pointing pose fortunately.

In a way, I’m looking forward to Hasbro messing with the Combaticons. Then I can make the Combiner of Misfit Toys with Offroad, Alpha Bravo, Rook and Cyclonus.
Speaking of misfit toys, Offroad is probably my favourite of the CW Stunticons. Looking at pics of Widrider/Brake Neck (awful name), he just isn’t as nice – in my eyes, at least.
I’d also like to remind G.I. Eddie that I is the Roman numeral for 1…
I keep getting later and later in my comments on your episodes. But things in my life have been crazy the last month or so. So i will just leave these comments right here…..
So much toy news I don’t know where to start… OH wait I DO….
Omnigonix Spinout looks very SWEET. Sadly I don’t own very many MPs due to finances. But I plan to change that. But this is definately one I want to add to my collection. I love the way the fiure looks and can’t wait to see him in colored renders in if full figure soon.
Also I am still on the fence about CW Devastator. I will wait on him until he is out and in hands before I decide on him. Don’t get me wrong he does look great, but I want to wait and see how he is accepted in the fandom. Though I think he will be highly popular.
The upgrade kits for Arcee and Chromia do look very nice, unfortuantely I haven’t been able to get my hands on them yet. But I will more than likely pick this kit up when I finally do get them.
Though I spoke to you guys on this on Twitter about this I still plan to try and go. ( Like you guys it will depend on the wife , if she let me ) The is a Anime Con that will be within a reasonable distance from me and 2 Transformers greats with be there. That being the little Scott McNeil and a somewhat known voice actor Garry Chalk. I won’t lie I really hope to go to meet both these guys ( hope to get something with McNeil since i kind of use his namesake).
Lastly guys I want to let you all ( mostly Yoshi ) know that if the little challenge I put down to him (and the rest of you if you interested ) , that being whoever has the most Transformers Comics by the end of the year. I am in the 800s now and will soon break 900 within the next week or 2. If you ask fellow Transceivers Dogcades , Rob , DMG , Gabe , Kgirl and others. I am sure they will tell you I am passionate about my TF comics collection. I really should look up and see if there is a record holder for the most TF books. Though if there is I am sure that Protoman probably has it.
But another great show guys!! Also I am sure that our little chats on Saturdays can be changed to a Friday or Sunday if need be if it will help you guys to join us sometime. Also the time too I am pretty sure Yoshi is a few hours behind us in that department.

Did you guys notice that Combiner Wars Ironhide appeared in the last TFCC magazine comic? He appears to be the Off Road mold, but they didn’t show in him truck mode yet. I also notice they did a version of Animated Prowl that appears to be Legends Groove painted in Animated Prowl colors. Weird choice.
