  1. Sad you had to pick that Timelines comic to talk about, because I really don’t like that art style. I didn’t like it back when the G2 comics came out. Noticed you didn’t review the story though. It was cool in at least it’s part of the TFCC’s Transformers TV series universe comics. It’s set after G1 and before Beast Wars, and had the origin of Tarantulas in there.

When you said gestalt was a fan term, you had me trying to find a case of when it was used in official Transformers text, because I never thought of it as a fan-term. Yeah, I guess fans made it up, and it was adopted officially. Earliest official use I came across was the bio for Titanium Menasor, which mentioned the word gestalt, that was 2007. So it’s been an official term for at least since then. Can anyone find any other official uses? http://www.tfu.info/2007/Decepticon/SDCCMenasor/menasor.htm

For the listener who wanted to follow the Marvel G1 comics, a third way to follow up after issue 80 (besides Marvel G2 comics or IDW Regeneration 1) is to read the TFCC Classicverse comics. These stories are, in order, “Crossing Over”, “Games of Deception”, “Cheap Shots”, “At Fight’s End”, “Invasion” and “Solar Requiem”. Read those in that order, and it follows the events of the Marvel TF comics.

  2. Another Awesome Show!!! Though it is a little on the downside with Yoshi missing. Though this goes for the whole crew, when one of you is missing the show is still good but that person is missed. I do hope Yoshi comes back soon his commentary is always funny.

Also if you guys didn’t know or would announce about it. You can check out http://www.mycomicshop.com for a lot of back issues of all Transformers series. They have a lot of G1 and G2 series comics on there. As far as I know a good amount of them are less than $2.00. I recently got the G2 Newsstand Cover Issue #1 off there for cheap. I only had the Opened cover and now I have both of them. I have been going there and getting a lot of the back issues I need for the extra covers on there for real good prices.

  3. Good show as always guys. Sorry to find Yoshi was not on this episode. Hope he comes back soon.

Regarding the Sentinel Prime pen – Peaugh made a video review of it about a week ago if you want to see how well it works.

I have to say it is a pass for me. The pen does not function that well and looks like it will be awkward to write with. Plus for the price BBTS is asking for you can get better Optimus Prime figures. I would say the toy/pen is only for hard core collectors.
